HENRY F. THUIS: SODA BOTTLER

According to the book The History of Vincennes bottling, by William Hopper, Henry F. Thuis started Thuis Bottling Works in Vincennes, Indiana in about 1867. He sold the business to his son, Frank in 1895. The book says that he "bottled thousands of gallons of soda, cider, seltzer and other soft drinks each year. It does not say what year he went out of business. It also indicted that he bottled Coca Cola roughly between 1912 and 1915. Below is a photo of one of his early Hutchinson soda bottles.
