The John C. Hurst's Son & Co. was importers and wholesale dealers in English, French, German drugs, chemicals, paints, oils and window glass. The company was located at 925 Market St. Philadelphia, Pa. in the 1870s and 986 Market St. in the 1880s. The firm also was proprietors and manufacturers of the Rising Sun Bitters.
