W. OLMSTEAD : CONSTITUTIONAL BEVERAGE BITTERS This label only Bitters bottle was used by the W. Olmstead & Co. which was located at 292 Washington Street New York. This company was listed in the New York City directory in 1868 and remained until 1878. There is also a listing in the Philadelphia Public Ledger in July 28 1869. The label reads Constitutional Bitters. Below are photos this semi cabin 10 ½ inches tall bottle is embossed CONSTITUTIONAL / BEVERAGE // W. OLMSTEAD & CO. // NEW YORK. The color of this bottle is a very light amber, almost yellow example.
