THATS THE STUFF : WHISKEY OR BITTERS BARREL  Here is a American whiskey or bitters barrel from 1850s to 1860s with only 4 to 5 examples known of. This one is golden amber in color and is 10 inches in height with a blowpipe pontil and applied flared mouth. So far there has been no examples found with a label so is it a bitters or a whiskey is still unsure for now. Photo attached below.  |
