may have been digging in is yard and dug up one or more bottles and it ends up
in his sale.
Most antique bottle clubs put on an annual bottle, jar
and glass related show for the public and fellow collectors to attend. This
brings out many bottle, jars and glass related dealers that always have a nice
varity of merchandise for sale or trade. It is good way to sell also.
Professional bottle and glass auction houses offer ways of bidding on quality
items though their catalogs or their online auction websites. Please note that
there is a buyer premium added to the final sale price plus the shipping
charge. In most cases, this is where the best of the best bottles are obtained.
Many bottle and
glass dealers have websites online that you can purchase items from. Lets not
forget about eBay online auctions. There are thousands of auctions or buy it
now items daily. Make sure you ask a lot of questions about the items your
interested in. In most cases, bottle collectors and dealers are very honest,
but in that rare occasion, there might be a bad apple in the bushel.
